The Guild Keep

Trade Pass Tab ~ Perpetual's General Store!
Trade Pass Equivalency Chart I

Trade Pass Equivalency Chart II

 * Notice:  The Trade Pass Equivalency Charts were made based on our former server's outrageous economy, and I will be updating it to make it more appropriate for Lightbringer's economy. *

The Guild Keep has been completely revamped! The first and foremost rule: only Cataclysm items are accepted.  We are primarily a raiding guild that enjoys end-game PvP as well, so really only Cataclysm items are of the greatest benefit to the entire guild.  If you really appreciate your fellow guild mates, then giving to the guild should be an honor, not a chore.  Frequent donations paired up with truly getting to know your guild mates is a really easy way to gain ranks in Perpetual.  Do not be disheartened by the fact that you aren't able to withdraw from all the other tabs aside from the Trainables tab. Only officers are able to withdraw from the remaining tabs, but this doesn't mean that what you see is strictly off-limits.  The way the Guild Keep works is we give back to those that give, through the newly designed Trade Pass tab.  Think of it as a General Store for Perpetual guild members only.  What is donated to the guild's Cargo Bay I and Cargo Bay II tabs is funneled primarily into the Trade Pass tab so that guild mates that have been giving to the guild are able to obtain items from Trade Pass through a reasonable trade compared to buying expensively from the Auction House.  Think of this as insider trading at its finest!  This is a remarkable new aspect to our guild and I am proud to say that we may be the only guild on this server that is using such a system.  We are pioneering our own flourishing economy!  If you see something you'd like from Trade Pass tab, be sure to ask any of the officers (Cirrus rank and higher) for the items and refer to the Trade Pass Equivalency Chart attached to the top of this post to see what items you would need to make the fair trade.  There are several different options to choose from, ranging from ores and herbs to enchanting materials and leathers.  Remember to donate in moderation when you know you will be needing something from the Trade Pass tab.  For instance, just because you donated three stacks of elementium ores last week doesn't mean you can include that in your trade for items you want in the Trade Pass today.  One great example of the benefit of the new Trade Pass system is that you no longer have to waste over 300 gold on the Auction House on Inferno Rubies.  Simply refer to the Trade Pass Equivalency Chart and trade the required materials for the raw Inferno Ruby and get one of the maxed Jewel Crafters in Perpetual to cut it for you.  I am excited about this new Guild Keep arrangement because this way abusing the system has been nearly eliminated.  Listed below are the tab names and what to donate in them.  Remember, you can always read the Guild Keep tab-specific information in-game as well.

* Please note, if you are unable to donate trade gathering materials, you still have many options.  You can donate Embersilk Cloth, Maelstrom Crystals and other enchanting materials you get in heroics, or you can donate green or blue Cataclysm gear that you find in heroics or off mobs in the world since these can be disenchanted.  You can also donate gold.  One other brilliant option is to donate your JP (Justice Points) that you no longer need.  You can use them to purchase ilvl 378 JP bracers for guild mates eager to get geared.  For more information on this, skip down to the information about the Plunder tab.

Trainables:

Glyphs, trade profession recipes and seasonal quest items.

Cargo Bay I:

What to donate: Cataclysm ores, herbs, volatiles & gems.

The ores will be used primarily to prospect into raw gems to be sent to Trade Pass so guild mates can purchase them at a reasonable price/trade and have them cut by a guild Jewel Crafter. They may also be used to replenish the Trade Pass obsidium, elementium and pyrium bars stock.  Some herbs will be sent to Trade Pass while most will be filtered into the Herbology tab to be used for raid flasks.

Cargo Bay II:

What to donate:  Embersilk cloth, Cataclysm leathers, food and enchanting mats or green/blue Cataclysm gear to be used to disenchant into enchanting mats.  Note: Delicate Wing would be a very great food mat to donate.

Embersilk cloth will be used to make bags or leg enchants. Leathers will be used to make leg enchants. Food mats will be used to make raid buff food for the Raid Lunchbox tab. Enchanting mats can be purchased/traded for at a reasonable price from guild mates for enchants.

 Trade Pass:

General Store for Perpetual. Instead of going to the AH for trade mats, you can come here to purchase mats at a reasonable discount price or exchange a fair amount of Cata mats. A trade equivalency chart can be found on the guild blog. Click on the link "Trade Pass" to find the equivalency chart.

Get the mats according to the equivalency chart and speak to an officer to trade. As a general rule, do not request an item that is the last of its kind. so we know what and where to restore.

Herbology:

The majority of herbs donated to the Guild Keep will find their way here to be used to supply Perpetual's raiding forces. Herbs will be rinsed thoroughly, crushed, boiled or steamed, then mixed with a vast array of eccentric ingredients ranging from the prickliest porputile spike to the finest of phoenix feathers. All flasks will be stored in immense vats found in Chris and Mattie's basements before being shipped to our Guild Keep.

Raid Lunchbox:

Here you can find raid flasks, potions and elixirs as well as raid buff food. In order to show appreciation to your fellow guild mates that have contributed to making raid flasks and buff food, please do your best to contribute either Cata herbs into the Cargo Bay I tab or Cata food mats such as Delicate Wing into the Cargo Bay II tab. Delicate Wing is a much needed raid feast material.

Plunder:

Herein lies the plunder your fellow guild mates have found amongst fallen foes from deep within the most formidable of raids.

If you no longer need JP (Justice Points), you can help guild mates gear up by purchasing JP bracers. Conversely, if you need ilvl 378 JP bracers, you may write a letter to an officer w/ the name of your char and specific JP bracers you need. An officer will take your message & deposit it here as a ticket so those willing can use their surplus JP to purchase your bracer.
